YOGA & MEDITATION - Be the Master of your body & mind


Yoga is not only a physical exercise as it is taught in the West. In India it is a science practiced for thousands of years for mastering the body-mind-soul and for living a life of harmony and peace. Imagine a perfectly healthy body and mind, functioning at their maximum capacity without a least a trouble – no sickness, no disease, no stress – that’s what yoga can do for any human being at any stage of life.

According Yoga, health is not just a mere absence of disease, but a positive feeling of well-being in body-mind-soul. The literal translation of Yoga is harmony – harmony of body-mind-soul, harmony in the relationships with the rest of living beings, and at the highest level harmony with the entire Universe.

What’s this program all about?

At ayurveda Yoga Villa, we are offering this program to take your yoga practice a step beyond the physical exercises. We have a residential yoga teacher, highly experienced from monastic traditions of yoga. He will be taking you through the journey of yoga and meditation to discover the potentials of your body and mind. Both theory and practical lesson will guide you from the very basic concepts of the effect of breathing on your body to how to tap the universal cosmic energy (prana) through simple stretches, asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing) and meditation techniques.  

This comprehensive set of asanas, pranayamas and meditation techniques are scientifically designed in such a way that you will be able to practice on your own at home and attain a certain mastery over body and mind. This program not only improves health and well-being, but also brings the necessary balance within oneself to experience higher levels of energy.

Daily program

07.00 am: Herbal Tea

07.30 am: Yoga & Pranayama session

09.00 am: Breakfast with Fruit Salad/Juice

10.00 am: Consultation with Ayurveda Doctor

10.30 am: Full body ayurveda massage

01.00 pm: Lunch (Ayurvedic Diet)

04.00 pm: Yoga & Pranayama

05.30 pm: Meditation

06.00 pm: Nature Walk / swim in the river

07.00 pm: Dinner (Ayurvedic Diet)

08.00 pm: Lecture / Video shows on health, spirituality, cultures etc.  

 

How many days?
Minimum 1 week, ideally 2 weeks, and for better results 3 to 4 weeks – depending on your present condition and what you are expecting.
